By December 31st, 2025, Aquila has launched Lightway Sentry, the world’s first optical power-beaming product, and conducted various Lightway integrations for fixed-wing drones, with high speed and reliable visual and electronic tracking up to 50 meters per second.

Upon the successful launch of Lightway Sentry, we deployed systems initially as controlled experiments to prove that operating optical energy networks is possible. These have successfully set the stage for transforming wireless energy networking by validating airspace operations for small drone applications.

In parallel, we have developed Lightway World—an open integration protocol set to create a world of wireless energy networking applications within generalised robotics—and Aquila PV cells to drive down cost per watt by >10x. We’re preparing to launch it to usher in the ChatGPT moment for wireless energy networks—the dawn of a new world.
